Literature Text

When you find someone you truly love
Don’t ever let them go
Hold them through the wind and rain
The sunshine and the snow.

Spend every day together
Make it work no matter what
Find new ways to keep it fresh
When you’re feeling in a rut.

To keep them safe, move far away
Move deep into the wood
Where only you can cherish them
As you know a lover should.

And if your love should try to run
Just build a wall or two
Brick will work, or even sticks
Held up with super glue.

When your love has burned to ashes
Oh baby, don’t you cry
Remember always, darling dear,
Some day we all must die.

I work in a place that sells decor for weddings and other events. Currently our showroom is decked out with a spooky Halloween theme...

Somehow the combination of romance and Halloween has produced this. Consider this your "treat" ?

Wrote this poem in five minutes, literally, so forgive the abruptness!
